The brief
We have worked alongside Fox Architects on a number of dental surgery fit-outs to manufacture and install bespoke dental surgery furniture, sterilisation rooms and reception counters. The Mount was one of those fit-outs and is a state-of-the-art building containing multiple surgeries, sterilisation rooms and supporting office facilities. The furniture was required to meet industry health and security standards, while matching the company’s innovative, modern image.

Our solution
When producing healthcare furniture, controlling the spread of germs and bacteria is crucial. For that reason we chose to use Corian on all the work surfaces, as it is easy to clean and stands up to harsh chemicals and antibacterial cleaning products. We supplied lockable storage units and drawers in the surgeries and sterilisation rooms to ensure medical equipment and records were kept safe at all times. The two-person reception counter with a glass top provided an eye-catching first impression for patients and also a safe, functional space for the receptionists to work.
