The brief
GB Projects has manufactured carpet display stands for Associated Weavers, one of Europe’s largest carpet producers, for more than 20 years. We initially supplied small quantities as a secondary supplier but as its business grew, we became the primary manufacturer, developing stands and installing them nationwide and overseas. As Associated Weavers developed a much larger range of carpets, the company required more carpet display stands to showcase its products and introduce them into the marketplace ahead of the competition. We were tasked with developing a range of market-leading carpet display stands and a method of distribution that ensured a smooth, quick delivery process.

Our solution
We wanted to ease the pressure on our client as business grew. We now manage the whole process for Associated Weavers, from display stand design and prototyping to delivery and installation in customers’ stores. We have designed stands that display a wide range of samples without taking up a large amount of space – a feat that is crucial for smaller, independent retailers. Over the years, we’ve provided the company with new and innovative ways to display carpet samples, whether that comprises of a small, standalone point of sale display or fully installed wall stands rolled out on a national scale.
